Well, our wedding day is officially 94 days away. Any spare time I have is filled with crafts and lists and planning so that Dan and I can have a day we will remember forever, and that our guests will truly enjoy.
We have been to a ton of weddings lately, and have quite a few more coming up before and after ours. Each wedding we attend gives us another thing to add (or subtract) from the list of things we think are important to making a great wedding day. I am VERY grateful to be getting so many of the little details taken care of so far in advance of the day-of. Our whole goal is to have as relaxed a wedding day as possible (while everything goes smoothly and according to my perfectly timed schedule, of course).
All I can say is, thank goodness for the internet and Pinterest in particular. If it wasn’t for the creative minds and open sharing of many, MANY women across the world, I would probably have a very boring, cookie-cutter wedding planned.
Here is a sneak peek into the wedding crafts that we have been creating lately:
Sorry I cant give you more details on what the crafts are, or will be used for. Lately the things I post online have been immediately imitated by friends or family, so I choose for my crafts to remain anonymous. But never fear! If you are a close friend or family member, you will see these crafts in action in 94 days. If you are a new friend or online fan, you will get to see what they were used for a little bit after the wedding (when I recover enough to blog again!).
Dan and I are really excited to see how all the planning comes together. And for any DIY brides out there planning your own wedding (and on a tight budget), we wish you good luck. It’s a grueling process, but definitely doable!
